Manor Farm is currently being farmed by the second and third generation of the same family. Growing potatoes, cereals and sugar beet, the farm has also been part of a successful environmental scheme for the last 12 years, encouraging biodiversity and developing soil health across the farm.
Sisters, Clare and Louise, have both returned to join Paul and Kate Knapton on the family farm after working in Event Management in London for nearly ten years.
With Spring 2019 now upon us, we have planted our spring barley, and land work is due to start for potato planting which begins early April. We are also looking to re-drill some of our environmental crops to encourage a wider diversity of wildlife and birds.
