Manor Farm is currently being farmed by the second and third generation of the same family. Growing potatoes, cereals and sugar beet, the farm has also been part of a successful environmental scheme for the last 12 years, encouraging biodiversity and developing soil health across the farm.
Sisters, Clare and Louise, have both returned to join Paul and Kate Knapton on the family farm after working in Event Management in London for nearly ten years.
Spring was a busy period as usual and now the spring barley, sugar beet and potato crops are all in the ground. We have cut our wild flower meadows to allow the flowers to grow and we are looking re-drill some of our environmental crops to encourage a wider diversity of wildlife and birds .
