Friday: arrive and exhale

Unpack, put the kettle on and settle into your apartment. Fresh milk and a welcome hamper of local treats will be waiting for you, while the fully equipped kitchen gives you everything you need for an easy dinner.
Then make yourself comfortable, switch on the Smart TV or simply enjoy the peace of a countryside evening.
Saturday morning: coffee, breakfast and fresh air
Start the day slowly. Make coffee, enjoy breakfast in your apartment and, if the weather is kind, take it outside.
When you are ready, pull on your walking boots and head into the countryside. Our setting on a working farm gives you open views and quiet surroundings, with permissive rights of way across the farm and the Viking Way close by.
You can choose a gentle stroll or make a full morning of it. Either way, there is no better feeling than returning with rosy cheeks and muddy boots.
Saturday afternoon: a pub stop or market-town wander
Lincolnshire is full of welcoming pubs, independent cafés, farm shops and characterful market towns.
Stop for a leisurely lunch, browse local shops or take a drive through the Wolds. Tealby, Caistor, Market Rasen and historic Lincoln, all offer different ways to spend the afternoon, whether you fancy village charm, local food or a little history.
There is no pressure to fit everything in. Choose one place, take your time and save the rest for another visit.
Saturday evening: your home from home
Head back to The Old Granary, kick off your shoes and settle in.
Cook together in the kitchen, curl up on the sofa and enjoy an evening without an itinerary. Our apartments are designed to feel comfortable and easy, with the practical things already sorted so you can simply switch off.
Sunday: one last slow morning
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before checking out. If you are not ready for the weekend to end, add a short walk, a farm-shop visit or a final café stop on the journey home.
